Search and filter records

Use your shared ThingzSafe inventory from a browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

Choose the search scope

  1. Search anything looks across Things, Sites, Areas, Contents and other supported records. Search this list narrows the current view.
  2. Enter part of a name or description. Clear the text to return to the full result set. Open a result to see its parent location and details.

Status and other filters

  1. Status defaults to Owned: Active and On loan records are included; Sold and Disposed are hidden. Choose All to include every status.
  2. Category narrows Things by category. Use other filters shown for the current screen, such as high risk, reminder period or review type.
  3. Sold and Disposed records use a silver background when included. Changing a filter should preserve that appearance after the results refresh.
